Been so busy

I've been so busy that I've forgotten to post on here that we are expecting baby number 4 in September! I've got a scan picture somewhere which looks just like the scan pictures for our other 3 but maybe sometime I'll scan it in.... Still 6 weeks to wait to find out what we are having! So exciting! The kids are thrilled, I'm over the morning sickness which was much worse this time but I kept telling myself it's the last one so I can make it through and life is generally going on as per usual. Baby Conway due September 16th 2012...

50 days!

Wow, I can't believe it - 50 days left till baby Conway is due! Still so much to do!!! We are currently debating swapping bedrooms with the girls. Our house only has 2 bedrooms both decent sizes but ours is bigger. So we are debating moving them into our room and putting all their toys up there so they don't need to be stored in the living room. At the same time the baby will be in our room for at least 6 months and we are hoping by then to be able to move house so maybe it's not worth the hassle of swapping over. Then there is the issue of the car, not sure if we can fit 3 car seats in the back so maybe we need to buy a bigger car! Then we are waiting to hear when our kitchen is going to be fitted. There are a few houses on the market we want to take a look at too. Ooooh lots of big things going on - or so it feels like!

On the plus side Eliza is doing fab with the potty training! We had our first accident free day on Sunday but having said that she has never had any horrible accidents mostly just teeny tiny ones so I am really glad I bit the bullet and got the potty out!

Esther and Eliza are starting to really play nicely together and enjoy one anothers company - I love to watch or listen to them together.

Right then, I'd best go and do some of my to-do list!

New year project

When I was pregnant with Eliza, some friends (thanks Helen) gave us their old double stroller which was a bit mouse eaten (literally) but in good working order. We used it for ages with Esther and Eliza and soon enough it will be time to get it back out. So I decided I would spruce it up a little before the new baby arrives. I'm going to attempt to sew up the holes in the basket bit at the bottom, give the wheels a good oiling (Ben always knew where I was when we were out with the stoller because of it's terrible squeak!) and I'm going to make some stroller liners to cover up the mouse holes in the seats. I'm going to use this tutorial http://http://floatingworld.typepad.com/floating_world_views/2008/08/stroller-liner-tutorial.html and I've chosen this fabric to make them with! They will have the russian dolls on one side and the apples on the other. I'm hoping the fabric comes before Friday so my sister can give me a hand. If not wish me luck!
I don't know why I didn't oil the wheels last time or do any of these things so it'll be a touch of luxury for our new baby girl!

It's a ....

GIRL!!! We had our scan today - well I had the scan by myself - Ben couldn't go and kids aren't allowed so it was actually pretty nice and relaxed to be there by myself! Ben has always said we will have all girls and so far he is 100% accurate! Now to choose a name!

Petit bebe

I took a picture of our scan photos and here is the clearest...not great but since we don't have a scanner and I keep forgetting to ask Ben to take them to work, this is the next best option! Looking forward to the next scan in November!

Another bundle of joy coming our way!

So most people that look at my blog already know (because I just can't keep it quiet) but today we went for our dating scan for bambino number 3 at the hospital! They were super quick and we had the same lady that did the scan last time when I was pregnant with Eliza! I'll try to scan in our scan photo but they aren't brilliantly clear as apparently I have a retroverted uterus which means it tips backwards so in essance the baby is further away from my stomach. They lady had to press really firmly to get a good picture and ouchie that hurts doesn't it when they make you have a full bladder!! At least they didn't need to take a load of measurements so it was only a couple of minutes. My midwife gave me the date of 30th March but the scan gave the date of 1st April. I'm siding with the midwife!! Roll on 20 weeks when I can find out the sex!
