Happy Belated Halloween!

We love pumpkins in our house. Every we've been married we have had a pumpkin carving night before Halloween - Ben is fab at making designs for the pumpkins - and create a little pumpkin family. This year though Ben was in the States for Halloween and in the rush to get him ready for his business trip the pumpkins remained uncarved.... I didn't even attempt to carve the pumpkins on my lonesome so Esther and I took the easy option and raided out fridge for any vegetables that could come in handy. I think they turned out quite cute!
Pumpkin Eliza (more on the baby Shrek side of things....)
Pumpkin Esther

Esther (aka Spider Fairy) with our creations.

Our punpkin family - unfortunately daddy and mummy pumpkin didn't get a look in.
We thought Esther would love the idea of going trick or treating this year but she was not interested one bit (bit scared of the other children's scary costumes) - instead Auntie Bexie took her 'trick or treating' to the garage - complete with pumpkin bucket - and treated her to 5 packets of sweets of her choice!

Too cute not to put on.....

There is no real reason for adding these othr than I think they are super cute!
Eliza 7 months.

I think Ben could actuallly fit all of Eliza's head into his mouth.

Happy girlie!

Easily Pleased!

It was Esther's birthday at the beginning of October so Uncle Adam asked what she would like. This is how the conversation went:

Esther: A beanbag (she already has one which uncle Adam made for her)
Adam: You already have one so anything else?
Esther: Some crisps
Adam: Anything else?
Esther: Some biscuits
Adam: Anything else?
Esther: No

Ben is away in Salt Lake for a meeting at the moment he asked Esther what she would like him to bring her back. This time it was a pink cup! She also helpfully pointed out that you could buy them at Tesco!!
Here are some pictures from her birthday party - 6 of the 8 kids at the party later came out in chicken pox!!
