Artistic sensibilities
This evening just before dinner, Esther and our neighbour girl who is 5 came into the house looking sheepish. The little girl said she wanted to go home now - that doesn't happen - she would always stay until I said it was time to leave. Turns out they had been getting a bit artistic on the trampoline. I usually let them take crayons, pencils and paper out there to do some colouring on the trampoline. Today they coloured the trampoline. Tomorrow they will be washing the trampoline. It was actually pretty hilarious and I'd give them 10/10 for creativity, just not common sense. You could tell they knew they had done something bad. I wish I could find my camera before it gets washed off, I've not idea where it's disappeared to. The 5 year old told her mum Esther had done it and she hadn't done any but there is some pretty fancy artwork that my 3 year old couldn't take credit for and some slightly less fancy artwork that she could. A regular pair of Picassos!!

That reminds me of our "Michelangelo Incident" when Caleb said he hadn't helped color the undersides of our dining room chairs. Too bad he'd signed his name under one of them and given himself away. ;)
Hee hee, great to hear stories about the trampoline! Hope you're all well xx
Use my phone camera that I left you...
This made me laugh Anna! Obviously I had to leave you a message on your blog, because I've only spoken to you twice on the phone today...
P.S. Let's go camera shopping together, then when Scott and Ben freak out, we can blame each other.
Ha ha! How perfect!
Every kid needs a stint of coloring something they "shouldn't". I know I colored a few walls in my time... :)
