Home sweet home!

I took this picture from the estate agents website but here is a picture of a house like mine! Our's has a garage to the right of the house - I've never lived in a house with a garage before so it's a real luxury! Still plenty of unpacking and sorting out to do. We need more furniture yet but we are getting there. I bought some bunk beds for the girls the other day and now my mum is freaking out because she thinks Esther is too young to go on the top bunk- is 5 1/2 too young to go on the top bunk? Any thoughts?

Shoot, Timmy slept on the top bunk from age 3. If there is a ladder-they are absolutly fine. I would not give it a second thought!

Does the bunk bed have good side rails to keep them in? Alice started sleeping in a top bunk at 2 1/2. It was great. At first it worked kind of like a crib because she didn't want to climb down in the dark. Of course she's over that now. Our 5 year old is too scared to go near the top bunk which made it necessary to put Alice up there so maybe it just depends on personality. Good luck!

I hope 5 1/2 isn't too young because I'm planning on putting bunk beds in Emerson's room for the boys soon and he's not quite 3. I'm sure Esther will do fine. She's not a crazy sleeper is she?

That's fine for bunk beds! Especially if they have side rails, which all new ones would have now. Not like the ones I remember sleeping on, where there was nothing to hold you in if you rolled in the night :)
