Why are Polly Pockets so expensive???
Esther has asked for some Polly Pockets for her birthday, a pretty resonable request but everywhere I look they are just super expensive for hardly any quantity!! Even on ebay people pay a fortune and I've been outbid at super high prices! Hmmmm....her birthday is on Friday.....time is running out....maybe she will forget what she asked for? Not likely! Isn't it funny that nearly 4 year olds can remember exactly everything they want to remember? Oh well, maybe I'll just need to buy something full price for a change... so hard when you are a bargain hunter!

It's the name that you're paying for. Don't they have a sorta knock-off Polly Pocket that's the same idea, but named Suzie or something? :S I hope you are able to find something.
Do you have the new "pop-off" polly pockets? We love those way better than the old ones. With the old ones the girls would pull and tug to get clothes on and off and end up beheading the doll and it wasn't fix-able. But these new ones are made to come apart so they just pop different legs on to change the pants, etc. So if you can get that kind I recommend it 'cause they last longer.
They definitely have provided hours of imaginative play at our house! I'm sure pricing is way different over there. Ours seem expensive to me too but if you find out that ours our comparably cheap I can send you some for Christmas if you want!
I guess I know what to look for now! They do seem to remember a lot!
